Our Tutors
All our tutors are selected for their expertise & knowledge of the Primary School National Curriculum. Ensuring that all children are taught the exact methodology that is required for their end of Primary School test is just one aspect of the curriculum and is very much at the heart of tutoring we provide.
Parents already know how important it is for their children to have the same teacher all year in school. With the same tutor each week, the children really get to know their tutor and vice versa, This enhances the learning as the tutor can use this knowledge to bring the best out in your child.
How much will the tuition cost?
We offer a range of options including paying every week, once a month, every 6 weeks or every 13 weeks. The prices shown are based on paying in advance. The following prices are for our small group tuition in centre and online. One to one online prices are shown further down the page.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TUTORS
During Key Stage 2, tuition often focuses on literacy and numeracy, especially if Key Stage 2 tests have uncovered that additional support in maths and English would be beneficial. We have English and maths tutors available in Lymm, Warrington, Culcheth and Widnes.
Our tutors also help children face the Eleven Plus, Common Entrance and other entrance exams with confidence.
Patient and supportive tuition
3Rs Tuition offers experienced tutors to help KS2 pupils get to grips with English, maths and science. Whether children are lacking in confidence or are reluctant learners, our KS2 tutors can help inspire and motivate with enjoyable and pressure-free private tuition. Our English, maths and science tutors are available from 3:30pm until 8pm Monday to Friday.
Key Stage 2 SATS Tests
The Key Stage 2 English tests aim to identify how children are progressing with reading and grammar, punctuation and spelling. For children struggling with any aspects of English, supportive private tuition can help make it ‘fall into place’.
Similarly, children who are finding maths difficult, including mental arithmetic, can make great progress with patient private tuition.
Teachers report on children’s progress in in English, maths and science at the end of key stage 2. If parents feel concerned about their child’s progress at this stage, tutoring can help them to catch up ready for key stage 3.
With the introduction of Progress 8 from September 2016, it is more important than ever to ensure your child performs well in these tests. The grouping of children in High School happens with most schools as soon as the children start in year 7. To ensure that your child is placed in the best possible group, our English, maths and science tutors will ensure that they reach their potential.
Tutoring for success in entrance exams
Parents eager for their children to succeed in 7+, 8+, 11+, Common Entrance and grammar school exams can help their children with supportive private tuition.
If you are a parent keen for your child to secure a place at a selective secondary school, you are probably already considering tutoring to help ensure your child is confident and prepared for the tests ahead of them.
