Key Stage 3

The transition to secondary school during

Key Stage 3 can be difficult for many students and it can be easy to fall behind when dealing with a new school, new friendships and a completely new way of learning; whether they are struggling in English, Maths or Science, a supportive KS3 tutor will help.

In large secondary schools, even students performing very well may not be getting the best possible education for them. Personalised, individual KS3 tuition will ensure they are pushed to the best of their ability and prepared to get the highest grades at GCSE.

Pressure-free tutoring at Key Stage 3 can help boost confidence and progress if children are having difficulties, and help ensure secondary school is an enjoyable experience with positive outcomes. At 3Rs Tuition, we have experienced Key Stage 3 tutors who offer a stress-free classroom environment that allows students to build confidence in Maths, English or Science.

During the pre-teens and early teens, we understand that many young people deal with stress and anxiety around their performance at school. Our individual tuition plans mean that students cover work at the right level for them. Through well-planned tuition and patient support, our KS3 tutors will help your child develop the skills and understanding that will set them up for success in their GCSEs and beyond.

Many parents worry about their child's education during this period too. If you have any concerns, please get in touch with us.

KS3 Maths Tuition

There is a significant increase in the difficulty and complexity of the maths expected of students at Key Stage 3 - this is something our tuition aims to help with. Although some students will enjoy this new challenge, those that maths does not come easily to may find themselves lost in new topics such as ratio and proportion, algebra and geometry.

Our maths tuition for Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 focuses on dealing with the topics with which each individual student is struggling. This could include dealing with gaps in knowledge left from incomplete primary education that secondary schools may neglect. Or simply a more focused explanation with the help of an experienced maths tutor.

Our KS3 maths tutors are available in Warrington, Widnes, Great Sankey, Culcheth and Lymm.
