We strive to make sure our private 11+ tuition is unique to the needs of every student with which we work. Like all our tuition, our 11+ programme is catered to their needs. It can be started at any stage of their preparation, whether their exam is over 2 years away or just 2 months. It will begin with an assessment which we will use to create an Individual Tuition Plan, unique to their strengths and to the demands of the grammar school entrance exam they are sitting.
Their 11+ tutor will then work through this plan, honing their knowledge and practicing exam technique. Depending on the needs of the student, this could mean working on speed or accuracy; vocabulary or knowledge; reasoning or grammar. Our tutors will prepare their work to ensure they are fully prepared in time for their grammar school entrance exam through careful tuition.
For many students, their 11+ examination will be the first important exam they sit, so tutoring that leaves them feeling confident and self assured is vital to their success. We believe that individual tuition plans allow for this, covering the topics they need to, at a pace that suits them. This is demonstrated time and time again by the happy confident students who perform at their best after individually prepared tuition.

Our 11+ tutors are selected for their expertise & knowledge of the various Entrance Exams and exam boards required for each school.
Your child will be tutored by the same tutor each week, allowing them to get to know your child and their strengths and to provide them with the best possible 11+ preparation be it in-person in one of our five local centres or online on our dedicated learning software. Whatever grammar school entrance exam they are taking, the help of one of our experienced 11+ tutors will make sure they feel confident in their abilities and in themselves.
11+ Maths Tuition
Maths tuition focused on preparing for an 11+ plus test will cover a wide variety of new and familiar topics. Many of the skills taught in schools are required, so these will be assessed and revised during tuition to ensure high levels of confidence and ability. These include number skills; arithmetics; geometry; fractions, decimals and percentages; statistics and data handling.
There are also several topics that are not typically covered in most primary schools until the latter half of Year 6 that students are expected to be familiar with in an 11+ examination, so tuition will also cover these in depth. These include the basics of algebra; complex word problems; ratio and proportion.
